Nick is an amazing mechanic, I took my HRV 2023 to him two days ago. I had previously taken it to Honda twice, my steering wheel was sticking, the first time they told me it was normal, the second time they changed the battery. But the problem was not fixed, so I took it to Nick, within 5 minutes he found the problem and did all the actions to get the spare part. He helped me. He is very pleasant and I am happy that I have known him for many years and trust him with my eyes closed. Of course, I had taken another car to him in the past which again found the way out .... Thank you Nick

Had a bad experience at this place. Went there by recommendation. They checked my car, noticed what was wrong and fixed, then when I drove the car it was still the same. So I came back and they said it was a different issue and had to fix it again. Same again when I drove the car, still same problem. Had to take it to a different place and noticed that they never changed the damaged part. They did the same thing to a family member. I think that’s the way they steal money from people, to make them come back and pay twice. The owner is rude and only care about luxury cars. Not recommended.

I had a great experience with this shop. Their communication was excellent from start to finish. They explained everything clearly, kept me updated throughout the process, and were always easy to reach. You can really tell they care about their customers and want to help. They were very professional and genuinely helpful. They took the time to answer my questions and made sure I understood the work being done on my car. The prices are not the cheapest, but you definitely get quality service for what you pay. When I was there, I even saw very high-end luxury vehicles inside the shop — including a Rolls-Royce — which shows the level of trust and quality they provide. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the service and would absolutely recommend them. Thank you for everything! 🙏🚗

I strongly recommend Steinway Auto Repairs. I have been going there since 1995, and even when I moved away from Astoria, I drive 35-45 minutes to take my car there. Nick’s father was excellent, trustworthy, dependable and the team of mechanics that worked in his garage were also carefully handpicked for their excellence. Like his father, Nick slso shares the same characteristics and runs a very respectable business. As always, they took excellent care of my Toyota Camry, repaired the electric outlet for my cell phone, and changed the oil in about an hour, and while taking care of other cars as well. They have a comfortable sitting room, airconditioned, and a clean spacious bathroom where a wheel chair can fit in comfortably. They are very polite and asked if we wanted coffee. I was able to drive into the garage and they immediately helped me. The garage is located in a nice area with several stores near by where you can get food etc.
